there was no table or chairs in the room, which made it inconvenient for dining. Although there were some outside, it wasn't suitable for winter.

Good location with view of the lake. To the city center at the lake it is only a 10 minutes walk. But back it goes steeply uphill. Even if the motel looks a little bit worn out at first sight, the room was perfectly ok, with a small balcony. Queenstown is a lively city and definitely worth a visit.

Everything was awesome - from the warm welcome to the quick check-in process. The location of the room was excellent, making it convenient to get around. The cleanliness of the room was top-notch, and the heating system ensured a cozy and warm atmosphere upon our arrival. The bed was incredibly comfortable, which resulted in a great night's sleep. Additionally, the area was peaceful and quiet, allowing for a truly relaxing stay. highly recommended!

Very good location.10 minutes to the centre on foot. Way back a little longer - steeply uphill there. Didn't bother us, though. Rooms very clean with good equipment. Queenstown style. Everything a little more expensive. But you know that beforehand. Check in took too long. The young man was not very friendly.

The value for money at Melbourne Lodge was excellent, with a large and comfy room equipped with up-to-date amenities. The location was also fantastic, close to Queenstown central and offering great views of the skyline gondola and mountains. The staff were friendly and provided warm and welcoming customer service.

The breakfast selection could be improved with more variety and options.

The electric blanket under the bed was very good!

In the shower very hot and very cold water came out alternately! At breakfast there was not much choice, not very rich. 6 different muesli but only 1 kind of ham, no cheese

Fantastic value for money. Close proximity to town, with restaurants, bars, and lake activities within walking distance. Lovely view of the lake and mountains from the lounge. Room serviced daily and cooking facilities available. Good heating in the lounge and outdoor deck.

Noisy guests during Mardi Gras weekend, but that is not the hotel's fault. Compact room, but still enough space for a family of four.

I recently stayed at Melbourne Lodge for a few nights while exploring the area. The room was warm, tidy, and spacious, with a comfortable bed and fresh linen. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. The bathroom seemed newly renovated, and the shower was great. I also loved the views from the lounge and breakfast area, which added to the overall ambiance of the hotel. Finally, the location was perfect - close enough to town for convenience, yet far enough away from the noise.

The staff was beyond nice! They went out of their way to give us breakfast before our early bus tour even though the breakfast did not open for another hour, and they always were able to answer any of our questions we had during our visit. The rooms were spacious and a great value for the price (not to mention the amazing heated blankets)! Perfect location, just a short 5 minute walk to the center of Queenstown. If I ever come back, I will definitely stay here again!
